Anne Duncan
Anne began gymnastics at the age of seven, competed through age 14, and began
teaching recreational gymnastic classes to children at the age of 15. She
graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. Degree in Health/Wellness.
She is safety certified, CPR certified
, and PDP Level 1 certified through USA Gymnastics, and a Level 1-4 Skill
Evaluator. Annie has been coaching at KGDC since 1993. She
teaches classes and coaches all levels of gymnastics. She has coached KGDC team
members to Levels 9 and 10 Regionals and Level 10 Nationals.

Billie Pinkham
Billie began gymnastics at the age of four, competed through age 16, and began
teaching recreational gymnastic classes to children at the age of 16. She
graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Degree in Family Relations and
Child Development. Billie began her coaching career at KGDC in 1999. She
teaches preschool gymnastic classes and coaches Levels 5-7 for the KGDC Twisters
competitive team. She is safety certified, through USA Gymnastics and
CPR certified.

James Sampel
James joined the KGDC staff in 1999. He brought with him five years of previous
experience teaching recreational gymnastics as well as competitive gymnastics
in the state of Kansas. He currently coaches developmental groups as well as all
levels of the KGDC Twisters Team. He is a USA Gymnastics National Safety
Instructor, First-Aid and CPR certified and a Level 1-4
Skill Evaluator.

Kristen Butcher
Kristen began her gymnastics career at a local private club and was a
competitive gymnast for eight years. She began teaching gymnastics in 1990 at
KGDC while in college at the University of Kansas. After receiving a B.S.
Degree in Lifetime Health and Fitness, she left Kansas and moved to Boston,
Massachusetts. While in Boston, Kristen was the director of the Gymnastic
Academy of Boston for seven years. She returned to KGDC as the recreational
program director, Kristen is safety certified and PDP Level 1 certified
through USA Gymnastics. She is also First Aid and CPR certified.

Aaron Kabler
Aaron comes to KGDC as Cheerleading Director after working with the
University of Kansas as both a cheerleader and cheerleading coach in the late
90s. Along with his experience at the University of Kansas, Aaron choreographed
numerous routines for cheerleading competitions for NCA, UCA, and USA squads
in Arkansas, Southern California, Las Vegas, and Kansas City with multiple state
and regional championships. Also, he served as the Summer Camp Director for the
United States Competitive Cheerleaders Association, where he developed a program
to provide private and semi-privates camps to thousands of cheerleaders throughout
the Southwestern United States. In addition, he also served as a summer staff
member for UCA and was the full time head coach for Lawrence High School.

Christy Bowlin
Christy began the sport of gymnastics at the age of three, and competed Levels
5-10 from the ages of seven through 17. Christys college career took her from
Johnson County Community College to Southeast Missouri State University, but
she finished up at Kansas State University in 2006 with a B.S. degree in
Kinesiology. Christy has been with KGDC since January of 07, and her
responsibilities include being the birthday party director, head AAU coach, and
coaching all levels of recreational classes.
